Two blogs today to catch up with! We were in Laos without WiFi for 4 days, so are even further behind than normal. Sophie got sick before that in Bangkok, so not too much action, but here it goes!

We left Cambodia on the 8 hour cross border bus to Bangkok. After we crossed the border we were given a dish of egg fried rice, I didn't think it looked to appetising so left it.
Upon arriving at our hostel, which had an incredibly odd smell, Sophie complained of being sick. Like really sick, see earlier egg fried rice! She couldn't stick the funny smell in combination with whatever was going on in her stomach, so we promptly made a booking at a nicer hotel and bailed!
Half way through the taxi journey while stopped at lights she threw the car door open and was violently sick! (We were sure to give the driver a good tip) We arrived at our nice hotel and she spent the rest of the evening making use of the high class facilities!
The next day I went to the biggest and fanciest shopping centre I have ever seen! They literally had a floor for luxury cars!

- Just popping out to the shops to grab a McLaren.
After checking to see that Sophie was alive I headed out to see the famous backpacker street Khao San road, which was good fun. I did stock up on rehydration salts whilst there, so it wasn't all for my benefit!

- Khao San road, nightclubs and massages for all!
