- On the boat home after an afternoon of climbing
Yesterday was fairly non eventful, we traveled from Hanoi to Cat Ba Town via the bus/ferry/bus. We got a few nice meals, did a climbing skills assessment to get access to the islands crags and just relaxed.

- Heading out to Moody Bay
Today we had our first foray into sport climbing at Moody Beach. The crag is located on an small island about half an hour's boat ride from the main island. We got a small boat out, to a larger ship where we had lunch before heading out climbing. Lunch was a good chance to socialise as we were at a table with a couple of New Yorkers, an Australian from Sydney and two physios from Yorkshire (who are planning to travel for 8 months!).

- The start of our first 5b, very exciting!
We managed to polish off two routes (a 4+ and 5b) without to much drama, even if we did take our time. The climbing was fairly easy going, but it was a nice first experience of sport climbing and we had the beautiful beach all to ourselves!

- Some actual climbing!
Tomorrow we are planning a full day of kayaking! Never quiet, but can report that last night was the first night that we've both slept through properly! Here's hoping we can make it two in a row!

- The resident kitten at our favourite restaurant, there is also a puppy, I shall endeavour to get a picture in the coming days!
