It's always better on holiday

Feels like holiday! Today has been a nice way to start the trip. This morning we went on a big walk, via the central market and into the centre of town to see the Petronas twin towers from the ground. We'd knocked off 19K before lunchtime and it was interesting to see the blend of cultures in the city.

This afternoon was spent very effectively catching up on sleep, well worth it!

We then had a mad dash to the Petronas towers in torrential rain (again). We got a taxi for the first part before walking/jogging the last two minutes to arrive a minute before we were due to start our tour! We were soaked and I'm not sure how worried they'd have been, but it was good fun.

The views weren't great due to the weather and we were nearly level with the clouds when we were on the top floor. Neither of us had been to such a tall building (452m) so it was a cool experience.

Finally on the walk back home we stumbled upon a night market which seemed to specialise in fake bags, they even had fake decathlon!

We then had some clay pot chicken rice (accurate description!) for dinner. Super tasty and great value, good to get some proper street food as we'll need to get used to it!
